No-turn design, although regular rotation is recommended.

History and Heritage

Natural fillings are the key ingredient in making the most sumptuous mattress. At Relyon we really know and understand natural fibres as we began life in 1858 as a wool merchant in the Somerset town of Wellington.

Originally named by the founding Price family as Price Brothers and Co., the business evolved rapidly into manufacturing beds, and then in 1935 the name was changed to Relyon as the goal was to design beds that you could truly "rely on" for a good night’s sleep.

Our philosophy is still the same today: your comfort is our paramount priority.

Relyon is one of the oldest bed manufacturers with vast experience of how to make the highest quality pocket-sprung hand-crafted beds. All of Relyon’s mattresses are hand-made using time-honoured skills that have been passed on and improved upon generation after generation. Relyon’s craftsmen train for many years in order to perfect their skills in producing the best beds in the world.

Over the last 154 years Relyon has gone from strength to strength. The heart of the business and our the manufacturing headquarters remain in Wellington, Somerset, with a workforce of nearly 500 employees.
